An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦志青 in the 14th minute of play forced Newton FC's goalkeeper Flavio Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Astor Frichoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 秦永雄. An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦志青 in the 36th minute of play forced Newton FC's goalkeeper Flavio Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 麦志青's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, 鲁博笑 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Flavio Madaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 麦志青 to make the kick off. Flavio Madaleno was a little too slow when 麦志青 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-3. After a rather tough play, 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's 曾适彬 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's 麦志青 got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, 麦志青 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's supporters crossed their fingers, but 麦志青 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's 柯扬飞 has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 74th minute. 麦志青 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Madaleno having to interfere. Flavio Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's 麦志青 made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Madaleno was left in no man's land by his defense there! 『挑战者』BRAND NEW 风雨无阻's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
