Reac Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paublo Failde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes, Reynaldo de Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reac Futebol Clube and the Deportivo Galicia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo de Azevedo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madaleno Rio in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo de Souza got free with Paublo Failde in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hortêncio Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odol Garandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Berdoi Huarte fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Galicia's protests and gave Berdoi Huarte a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Deportivo Galicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berdoi Huarte to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Reac Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Igor da Silva hit a great ball. Hortêncio Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berdoi Huarte in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo de Souza during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Gustavo de Souzas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Paublo Failde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hortêncio Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odol Garandia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Reac Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madaleno Rio in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Reac Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Madureira got control of the ball when Odol Garandia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Madaleno Rio came free, but Hortêncio Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
