The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Frenzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Schneider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. FC Wil 1900's Carlos Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Dziechciowski in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lienhard Restaino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefan Bochinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Andreas Kampus hit a great ball. Carlos Schneider was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Norbert Zahemski. After the first half FC Wil 1900 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Wrocanka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute, Ulryk Hatman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Timo Arnosti got a free kick in the 92nd minute. FC Wil 1900's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
