When Edgard de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Inter de Munique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inko Comas to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Rafa Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermín Aceves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafá Maldonado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. AGT Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fermín Aceves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, AGT Team's Mustafá Maldonado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Alvarenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of AGT Team booed when Inter de Munique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes in the game, Mustafá Maldonado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgard Alvarenga having to interfere. Jorginho Passos's late challenge caught a AGT Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Passos helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Inter de Munique got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Passos. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Edgard Alvarenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tulio Barbosa. After a defensive mix-up in AGT Team's zone, Jorginho Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermín Aceves came out of the goal and Jorginho Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AGT Team defense, Edgard de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermín Aceves. The AGT Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermín Aceves should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Inter de Munique's Edgard de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermín Aceves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 60 minutes into the match, Sandro Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fermín Aceves. AGT Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 63 minutes, Diego Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Munique and the AGT Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Inter de Munique got a freekick which was hit by Diego Nunes. After 64 played minutes, AGT Team's Angelo Gómez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgard Alvarenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AGT Team reached it. Rafa Paranaense scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermín Aceves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of AGT Team booed when Inter de Munique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. AGT Team's Fermín Aceves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard de Azevedo in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Garci Macho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AGT Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Munique the free kick. After a rather tough play, AGT Team's Garci Macho got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fermín Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermín Aceves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard de Azevedo in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Munique's zone, Mustafá Maldonado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Alvarenga came out of the goal and Mustafá Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fermín Aceves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafá Maldonado in the 91st minute of the match. Edgard de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermín Aceves made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jorginho Passos sent off a good shot on target.
