After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Julio Medina got a free kick in the 2nd minute. David Krause hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Deportivo Galicia's Weather Bonet came free and shot a quick shot against goal 12 minutes in the game, fortunately Carlos Schneider had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 15th minute, Frederic Kuster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paublo Failde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute, Weather Bonet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madaleno Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Schneider having to interfere. Paublo Failde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Kampus went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Deportivo Galicia's Paublo Failde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederic Kuster in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Umberto Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wil 1900's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Serafino Munaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Schneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Madaleno Rio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 37th minute, Andreas Kampus made a precise shot to the right of Paublo Failde. Deportivo Galicia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Jarrett Beljean fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wil 1900's protests and gave Jarrett Beljean a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Jarrett Beljean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederic Kuster was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Lienhard Restaino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Deportivo Galicia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lordi Lecea hit a great ball. Amandus Blattmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Deportivo Galicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gian-Carlo Rafecas to maneuver through the defense. Amandus Blattmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paublo Failde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Carlos Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weather Bonet in the 75th minute of the match. Weather Bonet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Umberto Romano made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paublo Failde was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederic Kuster got free with Paublo Failde in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
