In the 3rd minute, Claudio Bernabel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Salomone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 played minutes, Galácticos del Pueblo's Ambrosio Gar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anacleto Hulberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galácticos del Pueblo reached it. After having played for 25 minutes, Claudio Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Académico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Bernabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Pitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Gar in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Claudio Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Salomone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Rufio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Galácticos del Pueblo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imperio Académico were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Claudio Bernabel made the kick off in the second half. Imperio Académico's Damaso Michael was substituted for Anselmo Dabi. Angelo Chago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anacleto Hulberto having to make a save. In the 63rd minute Angelo Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Salomone was a little too slow when Claudio Bernabel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 72nd minute, Fermin Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Imperio Académico's Bernardino Patxi got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Imperio Académico's Claudio Bernabel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bartolo Salomone. Bartolo Salomone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bartolo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Bernabel in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Imperio Académico's Eulalio Pitin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The Imperio Académico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
