In the 27th minute Thorbjørn Engsholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Motta didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Saco FC's Wolfgang Bartolini shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Duarte to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Thorbjørn Engsholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Wolfgang Bartolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Allan Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Breno Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannich Brolyng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clóvis Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thorbjørn Engsholm went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Hélder Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Pernambucano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Thorbjørn Engsholm rounded Morro Grande E.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Morro Grande E.C's Breno Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Saco FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morro Grande E.C throughout the match.
