The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Rigoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisinho Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Prata during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morro Grande E.C's Luisinho Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrea Di Piazza charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrea Di Piazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrea Di Piazza hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzo Style f.c's zone, Luisinho Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Di Francesco came out of the goal and Luisinho Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clóvis Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Pellecchia, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's Cristian Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Di Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélder Pernambucano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Although Gonzo Style f.c had been in control for most of the match, Morro Grande E.C still came away with the win.
