Celsinho Terra didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Green Horses's Christodoulos Symeonas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Raúl Souza put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Engenheiros da Vila getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Raúl Souza hit a great ball. Engenheiros da Vila's Celsinho Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Periklis Zorbadelos in the 12th minute of play. Ignatios Pitsipopakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celsinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Velis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Avraam Liakos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Green Horses fans jumped to their feet. In the 29th minute Periklis Zorbadelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Periklis Zorbadelos took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho Terra. Celsinho Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Celsinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Periklis Zorbadelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Furlan during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Engenheiros da Vila getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paulo Furlan hit a great ball. Celsinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avraam Liakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Periklis Zorbadelos in the 41st minute of play forced Engenheiros da Vila's goalkeeper Celsinho Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Pombal came free, but Ignatios Pitsipopakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Kazatzis to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Green Horses were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
55 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goalkeeper Celsinho Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avraam Liakos. Celsinho Terra came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos. But to his dismay, Periklis Zorbadelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luiz Eduardo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ignatios Pitsipopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Gomes in the 63rd minute of play. Celsinho Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Periklis Zorbadelos went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Avraam Liakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celsinho Terra. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 73rd minute Felippe Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatios Pitsipopakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themos Louboutis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Periklis Zorbadelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Celsinho Terra made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Pombal during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Pombal. In the 82nd minute, Periklis Zorbadelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 88th minute, Paulo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Alberto Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Green Horses could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Engenheiros da Vila throughout the match.
