The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Dekanis got free with Ignatios Pitsipopakis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ignatios Pitsipopakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis got control of the ball when Nojus Peleckas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Virginijus Geibūnas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignatios Pitsipopakis. Virginijus Geibūnas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Themos Louboutis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Themos Louboutis got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Valentas Čebatorius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramūnas Morkūnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Tsobanis in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Christodoulos Symeonas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramūnas Morkūnas. Aleksotas FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christodoulos Symeonas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Dekanis in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Dekanis came free, but Ignatios Pitsipopakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Avraam Liakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Horses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aleksotas FK the free kick. After 54 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Avraam Liakos. In the 60th minute, Avraam Liakos made a precise shot to the right of Ramūnas Morkūnas. Aleksotas FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ignatios Pitsipopakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Dekanis in the 63rd minute of play. Ignatios Pitsipopakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nojus Peleckas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When Tomas Dekanis fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aleksotas FK's protests and gave Tomas Dekanis a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Aleksotas FK got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Dekanis. In the 77th minute, Arnoldas Nagys made a precise shot to the right of Ignatios Pitsipopakis. Green Horses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christodoulos Symeonas in the 84th minute of play forced Aleksotas FK's goalkeeper Ramūnas Morkūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Virginijus Geibūnas came free, but Ignatios Pitsipopakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Dekanis in the 88th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Ignatios Pitsipopakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virginijus Geibūnas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virginijus Geibūnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virginijus Geibūnas hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Aleksotas FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
