Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hamilton Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Urduban in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner. Laurențiu Lăzăroiu went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Constantin Hoduț managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Filip Borcea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 38 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Doru Ghiondea. Filip Borcea was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Isac Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isac Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Morais in the 52nd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Filip Borcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Carpathian Wolves's Gigel Urduban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 60 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Morais made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Borcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Laurențiu Lăzăroiu put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Carpathian Wolves:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s goal. Isac Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Borcea having to interfere. Filip Borcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Hamilton Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Urduban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Borcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Mota in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Mota came free, but Filip Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Nichifor Velicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Isac Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Borcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
