An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Veiga in the 20th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Gino de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Giovana F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpathian Wolves the free kick. A collision led to Giovana F C getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. In the 52nd minute of the match, Joaquim Veiga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ionică Alb was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Daniel Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giovana F C's protests and gave Daniel Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Giovana F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovana F C's Adilson Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Urduban in the 54th minute of play. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Galvão in the 59th minute of play. If Joaquim Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionică Alb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petre Babarada during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Veiga in the 93rd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Galvão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ionică Alb came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Galvão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 95th minute. When the match was over Giovana F C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carpathian Wolves throughout the match.
