Erling Hellkvist started the match with the kick off. The referee gave NovaStella FK a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. João Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Kullgren in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jairo Quintal hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Tobias Kullgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. João Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Doriva Alves hit a great ball. Erling Hellkvist took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Freitas. João Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Wesley Severo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Wesley Severo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Toa Toa 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Hellström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Freitas. Sven-Åke Hellström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diguinho Nunes was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hélder Mangueira hit a great ball. Jairo Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Erling Hellkvist made a precise shot to the right of João Freitas. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 69 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Andy Lindqvist. Toa Toa 4EVER's Diguinho Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Raí Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toa Toa 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NovaStella FK the free kick. After 79 played minutes Toa Toa 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Raí Viana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Duset in the 81st minute of play forced Toa Toa 4EVER's goalkeeper João Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Toa Toa 4EVER's Wesley Severo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wesley Severo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Toa Toa 4EVER protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wesley Severo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Toa Toa 4EVER:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NovaStella FK:s goal. The referee gave NovaStella FK a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. In the 90th minute, Mikael Duset left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NovaStella FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 92nd match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Tobias Kullgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. João Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
