Guga Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Plaski in the 10th minute of the match. Guga Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Kieca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Luís Guilherme de Mendonça's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Lucjan Oborski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juliusz Marek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Neves having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Kieca to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliusz Marek in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Neves saved Nova Venécia-ES from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Gildo de Carvalho got a free kick in the 35th minute. Zbyszek Olejarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Neves having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Hugo de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Venécia-ES and the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juliusz Marek to make the kick off. If Juliusz Marek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Olejarz in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Hugo de Queiroz got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 81st minute Rafinha Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Oborski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Azevedo. Gildo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Zbyszek Olejarz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilton Paes's late challenge caught a Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilton Paes helped the player get up and apologised. Wilton Paes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
