In the 43rd minute, 彭然珂 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 莫适宽 was the one to do the kick off. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 李升轩 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 中职联-大连实德 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 李升轩 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Eugène Guiguet got a free kick in the 74th minute. 莫适宽 charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The score was now 1-4. 叶辰邦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugène Guiguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Stade Ygossais players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
