Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jos Armentier got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Benedek Soós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stan Hagemans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jos Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vérsárkány SE getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Benedek Soós hit a great ball. Vérsárkány SE's Pál Simon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Vérsárkány SE from getting a goal against them. If Jos Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Bence Kásás. Stan Hagemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bátor Tigris in the 29th minute of play. Sándor Czakó kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Bátor Tigris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stan Hagemans. VC zoetwater's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bátor Tigris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Stan Hagemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedek Soós in the 43rd minute of play. When Jos Armentier came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the VC zoetwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jos Armentier couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sándor Czakó to strike the kick off in the second half. Sándor Czakó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jos Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Simon having to interfere. Bence Kásás's late challenge caught a VC zoetwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bence Kásás helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Bence Kásás. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Sándor Czakó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Hagemans came out of the goal and Sándor Czakó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Jos Armentier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jos Armentier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pál Simon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Zakariás Pálfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zakariás Pálfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zakariás Pálfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pál Kásás kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Sándor Czakó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Hagemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Lajos Kárpáti made a precise shot to the right of Stan Hagemans. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vérsárkány SE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
