Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Alexandre Soares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Diamantino Fontes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Toninho Veiga took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Soares. Alexandre Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Matías Teles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Soares. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torcato Taborda made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Sacadura. Jerónimo Álvares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Marquez. Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Valadas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Osvaldo Sacadura hit a great ball. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Wilian Alagoano replaced Toninho Veiga. In the 56th minute, Osvaldo Sacadura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Fernando Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Carioca in the 73rd minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Alexandre Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dinamo Colorado's Wilian Alagoano in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 85 minutes, Torcato Taborda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas and the Dinamo Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Torcato Taborda got a free kick in the 85th minute. Osvaldo Sacadura kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The throw-in from Diamantino Fontes in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dinamo Colorado's Matías Teles. Osmar Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gerson Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Alagoano in the 95th minute of the match.
