The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gencer Sair helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gençlerbirliği fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Piast Choszczno. Lucjan Tylenda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ali Reşit. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Nakoneczny in the 8th minute of play forced Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Remigiusz Zbydniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arslan Songurhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Mieszko Skrzypiec made a huge save. Ali Reşit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Skaradowski in the 11th minute of the match. Ali Reşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Merski in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Skaradowski came free, but Ali Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Recep Talha Ilgın scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Skrzypiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Talha Ilgın in the 28th minute of play forced Piast Choszczno's goalkeeper Mieszko Skrzypiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mieszko Skrzypiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Recep Talha Ilgın, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Gençlerbirliği booed when Piast Choszczno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Kochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Zbigniew Skaradowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piast Choszczno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 34th minute Zbigniew Skaradowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Reşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Skaradowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mieszko Kochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Recep Talha Ilgın recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mieszko Skrzypiec. Recep Talha Ilgın showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbigniew Skaradowski was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Gençlerbirliği got a freekick which was hit by Şenol Saatçioğlu. Piast Choszczno's Lucjan Tylenda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ali Reşit but with some difficulty. After 56 minutes, Recep Talha Ilgın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gençlerbirliği and the Piast Choszczno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Recep Talha Ilgın hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Eralp İhtiyar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Piast Choszczno's Lucjan Tylenda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Reşit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ali Reşit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damazy Merski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 64 minute of play. Mieszko Skrzypiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recep Talha Ilgın in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arslan Songurhan during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Reşit came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Piast Choszczno's Beniamin Nakoneczny. But to his dismay, Beniamin Nakoneczny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 81 minutes into the match, Gençlerbirliği's goalkeeper Ali Reşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateusz Absolwent. Ali Reşit was a little too slow when Mateusz Absolwent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-5. 92 minutes into the game, Gençlerbirliği's Recep Talha Ilgın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mieszko Skrzypiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piast Choszczno eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
