The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ervin Pálffy took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugon Kapelski. Hugon Kapelski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s goal looked a bit too open when Tamás Koledich came free, but Hugon Kapelski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Klawke came free, but Csanád Csürke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamás Soltész recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugon Kapelski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tamás Koledich in the 18th minute. The long shot by Tamás Soltész in the 19th minute really tested Hugon Kapelski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Csanád Csürke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Siekierka in the 20th minute of play. Tamás Koledich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Tamás Soltész mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ and the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ got a freekick which was hit by Tamás Soltész. A collision led to ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Imre Czene hit a great ball. The supporters of ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ booed when ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Gizynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Csanád Csürke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Siekierka in the 38th minute of play. Ervin Pálffy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hugon Kapelski made a huge save. Mikolaj Siekierka hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Hugon Kapelski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tamás Koledich's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Dávid Kovács was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ the free kick. After 43 played minutes ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Kovács. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ made a substitution. Wasyl Jarosiewicz replaced Zbyszko Gizynski. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hugon Kapelski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamás Koledich went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hugon Kapelski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tamás Koledich's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Pawel Kieca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csanád Csürke having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Tamás Koledich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugon Kapelski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Hugon Kapelski came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Dávid Kovács. But to his dismay, Dávid Kovács quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. András Budai hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Stefan Klawke might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Csanád Csürke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan Klawke ran back to his position shaking his head. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Pawel Kieca got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Damazy Kochanowicz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Tamás Soltész struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hugon Kapelski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ. In the 82nd minute, Tamás Koledich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Tamás Koledich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Kapelski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Tamás Koledich got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
