Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Vidal kicked off to start the match. Chico Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lopes in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Eliézer Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Koehler having to interfere. Márcio Nunes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Chico Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lopes in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Lopes in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Fernandez saved Compugraf from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Toninho Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monumento Sports were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Compugraf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Lopes took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lopes in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Rui Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Toninho Arruda made the kick off in the second half. Joel Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Chico Fernandez made a huge save. Amadeu Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Prata in the 56th minute of play. In the 65th minute Christiano Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monumento Sports's Márcio Nunes got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes, Júlio Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compugraf and the Monumento Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Compugraf getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Júlio Neves hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goalkeeper Chico Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Lopes. Amadeu Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Prata in the 75th minute of play. When Luís Guilherme Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compugraf's protests and gave Luís Guilherme Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Monumento Sports booed when Compugraf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joel Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Catarinense's late challenge caught a Monumento Sports's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. Toninho Arruda took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Fernandez. Chico Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Prata in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Koehler saved Monumento Sports from getting behind. Christiano Prata took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Koehler. Amadeu Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
