Valentin Asserlindh was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicasio Mendebal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Narciso Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nicasio Mendebal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Valentin Asserlindh made a huge save. RIVER were furious when Feliberto Sadurni was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Nordström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FF Små Gröna Män fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Ixaka in the 34th minute of play forced FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Valentin Asserlindh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Joachim Bäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute Samuel Lertxun ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Valentin Asserlindh. 2-2. In the 44thth minute of the game Anselmo Esdras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FF Små Gröna Män's Valentin Asserlindh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Asserlindh didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Esdras to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Esdras came free, but Valentin Asserlindh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Nordström in the 55th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, FF Små Gröna Män's Narciso Jerrald threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Nordström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 83 minutes into the game, Higinio Nofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Valentin Asserlindh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
