Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) RIVER's Anselmo Esdras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atakan Cebir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Narciso Jerrald made a huge save. After 4 minutes, Anıl Arda Zeren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Montana and the RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Enaut in the 5th minute of play forced FC Montana's goalkeeper Gazi Gencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gazi Gencer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Ixaka in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atakan Cebir in the 8th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Narciso Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Montana's Ertan Tuğ got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of RIVER booed when FC Montana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süruri Ethem didn't get a good kick on the ball. RIVER were furious when Samuel Lertxun was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Samuel Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Atakan Cebir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narciso Jerrald. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, FC Montana's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Jerardo came free, but Gazi Gencer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertan Tuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, İstemihan Kumanbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Atakan Cebir came free, but Narciso Jerrald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bruno Enaut fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Bruno Enaut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Enaut to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Arda Zeren was the one to do the kick off. When Anıl Arda Zeren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 54th minute, Anıl Arda Zeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Jerrald came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Montana's Mehmet Özçin. But to his dismay, Mehmet Özçin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Narciso Jerrald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süruri Ethem in the 63rd minute of the match. İstemihan Kumanbay made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ertan Tuğ however managed to control. In the 68th minute, Ertan Tuğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Montana's Gazi Gencer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Montana from getting a goal against them. The supporters of RIVER booed when FC Montana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şensoy Usun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Nicasio Mendebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Nofre got free with Gazi Gencer in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, RIVER's Blas Canor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gazi Gencer. Gazi Gencer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Atakan Cebir scored 3-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Jerrald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Montana fans cheered their team off the field, for while RIVER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
