One of Branco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vila Mascote FC:s goal. If Cássio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Norino to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Fernando Sabóia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Mascote FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Branco FC's Raimundo Herrera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Sabóia in the 30th minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 32nd minute of the match. Celedonio Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Branco FC defense, Guilherme Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Nataniel. The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Nataniel should have stopped the shot. Celedonio Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Pombal in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Norino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 43rd minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 59th minute of the match Guilherme Pombal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Nataniel skillfully saved the ball. Celedonio Nataniel made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Guilherme Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Celedonio Nataniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, Cássio Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Rodriguinho Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Vila Mascote FC were awarded a corner. Guilherme Pombal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Vila Mascote FC's corner Guilherme Pombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celedonio Nataniel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute Fernando Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Vila Mascote FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Branco FC.
