Jaime Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Steven Lebreton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Gelmiro having to make a save. Rosendo Gelmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosa nostra Lyon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Mon in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmid Lamouroux saved Cosa nostra Lyon from getting behind. LA LUZ F.C.'s Jaime Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Mon might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmid Lamouroux. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Mon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Quinten to maneuver through the defense. The LA LUZ F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cosa nostra Lyon to win.
