Braulio Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Benigno Guillem went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Benigno Guillem got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filiberto Etxeberri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Lon in the 16th minute of play. Vicente Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Dominix in the 19th minute of the match. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Seguinus in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Edgard Baldovino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vicente Urre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lucio Ourente hit a great ball. Baldomiro Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Gorri to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Guillem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filiberto Etxeberri. Menchu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Baldovino to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Bruno Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Seguinus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Etxeberri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Lon to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ourente. After 59 played minutes, La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Candela FC reached it. Edgard Baldovino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Justo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Clodio to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Etxeberri came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Bruno Seguinus. But to his dismay, Bruno Seguinus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Bruno Seguinus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Candela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Gonzalez went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vicente Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Baldovino in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Menchu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Candela FC.
