Vicente Urre was a little too slow when Caio Caiado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rui Caldeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Urre having to interfere. Saul Flor's late challenge caught a PLURAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Flor helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Flor. Vicente Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Caldeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Boaventura having to interfere. Caio Caiado hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Justo Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jorge Boaventura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Leitão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 39th playminute. Vicente Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Ramires in the 45th minute of play. Vicente Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Caiado in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Seguinus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The PLURAL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Honorato Damásio's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Damásio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Gavino Evis got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
