After having played for 6 minutes, Rolando Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jarana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Todor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaiet Martiniana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Policarpio's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Rolando Todor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Kaiet Martiniana. Kaiet Martiniana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jarana FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Primo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kaiet Martiniana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Caitano in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresenciano Codony didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaiet Martiniana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Todor in the 27th minute of the match. Melchor Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaiet Martiniana having to interfere. Miguel Txaran lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Miguel Txaran got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Manuelo Sominaya broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elpidio Primo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Burell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Juan Burell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elpidio Primo, 1-1. In the 43rd minute Israel Barbot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Aviñante to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Manuelo Sominaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jarana FC the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuelo Sominaya to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rapsodas Red Devils FC's zone, Pastor Caitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaiet Martiniana came out of the goal and Pastor Caitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Luciano Zayas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Primo. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Primo should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vimaro Riegas to maneuver through the defense. Kaiet Martiniana was a little too slow when Melchor Gamus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-2. Elpidio Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Burell in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Jonathan Aviñante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Burell, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Atilano Jerrold hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Jonathan Aviñante fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapsodas Red Devils FC's protests and gave Jonathan Aviñante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Jonathan Aviñante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaiet Martiniana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Lauren in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Manuelo Sominaya was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Manuelo Sominaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Pastor Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaiet Martiniana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarana FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
