After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Márcio Trevisan got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirama Futebol Clube's zone, Jonathan Aviñante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Neiva came out of the goal and Jonathan Aviñante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Israel Barbot got a free kick in the 25th minute. Juan Burell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Décio Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Aviñante in the 31st minute of play. Kaiet Martiniana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Sabóia in the 37th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Luisão Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisão Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Pintado during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Israel Barbot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Décio Neiva. That made the score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Kaiet Martiniana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisão Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cresenciano Codony got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Rapsodas Red Devils FC defense, Luisão Sabóia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaiet Martiniana. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaiet Martiniana should have stopped the shot. If Luisão Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ibirama Futebol Clube from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
