Aesir FC FSCMZ's Evandro Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Vergílio in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, MALZBIER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rodriguinho Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Mattos made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Carlos Alberto Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. Evandro Mattos was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Carlos Alberto Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Alberto Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto Figueiredo to make the kick off. Evandro Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Oliveira in the 68th minute of the match. Paulo Macedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodriguinho Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Macedo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Evandro Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adilson Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Gilvan Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 89 in the game by Paulo Macedo from a close distance when the talented Rodriguinho Zonta managed to make a qualified save. MALZBIER's players were relieved. In the 94th minute, one of MALZBIER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MALZBIER. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Guga Barros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodriguinho Zonta. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Tomás Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. MALZBIER's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
