Marquinhos Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Sousa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luís Eduardo Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Sousa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute of the match DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marquinhos Sousa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Arósio to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Henrique Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Sabóia in the 35th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Luís Eduardo Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

After some careless play in the DIPLOMATA FC PAB defense, Luisão Sabóia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Sergipano. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Sergipano should have stopped the shot.
