An unexpectedly hard shot by Haralampi Glavanakov in the 13th minute of play forced Raining Blood's goalkeeper Albertinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venko Kuleliev succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Haralampi Glavanakov struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Albertinho Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vanko Korchev to maneuver through the defense. Haralampi Glavanakov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertinho Mattos came out and tried to block the shot, but Haralampi Glavanakov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Raining Blood getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Enrique Pombal hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Vanko Korchev was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vanko Korchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United F.C.'s Venko Kuleliev got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raining Blood's Pedrinho Messias was substituted for Luís Eduardo Leão. Raining Blood's Dé Mangueira was substituted for Gualter Secco. In the 64th minute, Haralampi Glavanakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Manchester United F.C.'s Tzanyo Zvúncharov got control of the ball when Matheus Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
