Haralampi Glavanakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Theodore having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Tzanyo Zvúncharov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Quin. Ezequiel Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venko Kuleliev in the 33rd minute of play. Ezequiel Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vanko Korchev in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Huben Madolev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Bras to make the kick off. Tzanyo Zvúncharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Bras in the 51st minute of play.
