Ovidio Lamberto came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Álvarez's Fernando Guib. But to his dismay, Fernando Guib quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 27 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Ezequiel Lordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Lamberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Boulogne del Ciclón booed when Club Deportivo Álvarez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Francisco Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Bras in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Ladio. Feliciano Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Evaristo Ibar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boulogne del Ciclón. After a rather tough play, Boulogne del Ciclón's Samuel Medina got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Fernando Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Boulogne del Ciclón's Ovidio Lamberto got control of the ball when Gabriel Huly tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Boulogne del Ciclón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ovidio Lamberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92nd play minutes Serafino Rameriz shot 5-3, a short shot which went by Evaristo Ibar and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boulogne del Ciclón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Deportivo Álvarez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
