Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Desiderio Beltza started the match with the kick off. Florencio Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Desiderio Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Club El Progreso's Apolo Ramos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Chus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 33rd minute Victorino Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Victorino Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Aaron Sansone got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Guerau was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Baldomero Salomon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lázaro Chus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Marcelino Dalmu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Hegoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Chus. Noqueces FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Noqueces FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Augusto James hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Alfredo Itzaina notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Club El Progreso's Florencio Jaen. Florencio Jaen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Desiderio Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Florencio Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Cisco in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Noqueces FC were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Lluc went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Reynaldo Lluc almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club El Progreso's Florencio Jaen did a great save. In the 73rd match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Beltza came free, but Florencio Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Victorino Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Florencio Jaen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club El Progreso were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Noqueces FC for a fine match.
