In the 9th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes, Club Almirante Brown's Augusto Ilazki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bonifacio Errolan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Almirante Brown reached it. Bonifacio Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Laurentzi in the 28th minute of the match. Pascual Txanton's late challenge caught a Club Almirante Brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Txanton helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Nadie nos Para's zone, Aurelio Maidana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Errolan came out of the goal and Aurelio Maidana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Pascual Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Club Almirante Brown were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Laurentzi was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Oscar Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Laurentzi got free with Bonifacio Errolan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Erubiel Laurentzi sped through Nadie nos Para's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bonifacio Errolan. After some careless play in the Club Almirante Brown defense, Carlos Quentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Leoncio. The Club Almirante Brown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Leoncio should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Almirante Brown walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
