Vali Surugiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Sazon in the 4th minute. Vali Surugiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Pero in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Florin Brădea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelino Domeka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Scorpions -MM-'s Florin Brădea got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Sazon came free, but Vali Surugiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Gervasio Sazon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Vali Surugiu. Vali Surugiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vali Surugiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes in the game, Iacob Tăutu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marcelino Domeka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Cimpoieru in the 34th minute of play. Scorpions -MM-'s Vali Surugiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Pero in the 37th minute of play. Mihai Stoleru kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Luca Modrić's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Modrić helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Scorpions -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Modrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aurelian Dănănae's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Dănănae helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Dănănae. In the 58th minute, Dario Tomi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th play minute Iacob Tăutu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelino Domeka. 1-2. With 71 minutes on the clock, Aurelian Dănănae commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Aurelian Dănănae hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Alexandru Zăvoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Domeka came out of the goal and Alexandru Zăvoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Domeka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Tăutu in the 77th minute. Vali Surugiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Sazon in the 78th minute of play. When Alexandru Siteavu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Alexandru Siteavu a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandru Siteavu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Florin Brădea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scorpions -MM-'s Vali Surugiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Rosario in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Florin Brădea hit a great ball. When Iacob Tăutu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Scorpions -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Tăutu couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ORIZABA F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
