Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Cimpoieru started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Cimpoieru during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Eric Cimpoieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Daniel Dimitriu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Truseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scorpions -MM- the free kick. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Dimitriu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Eric Cimpoieru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Chicu. FC Truseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Cimpoieru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Josan came free, but Vali Surugiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Alexandru Zăvoiu got a free kick in the 25th minute. FC Truseni's Dan Chicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Cimpoieru in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Octavian Tâmbalari took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Vali Surugiu to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Tăutu came free, but Dan Chicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Mihai Stoleru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Tărbac. Aurelian Dănănae hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Truseni's Daniel Stângã tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dan Chicu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Scorpions -MM-'s Iacob Tăutu. But to his dismay, Iacob Tăutu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dan Chicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Zăvoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Tâmbalari to make the kick off. Dan Chicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Cimpoieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eric Cimpoieru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scorpions -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Cimpoieru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Chicu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Alexandru Zăvoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Truseni the free kick. In the 86th minute Alexandru Zăvoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Chicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Dimitriu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Viorel Eremciuc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Vali Surugiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Chicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Cimpoieru in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
