Angelo Sugoi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 2nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 7 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Cardoso in the 10th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Fabrício Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Angelo Sugoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Talleres de Escalada's Angelo Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres de Escalada from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Madureira came free, but Angelo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Fabrício Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 36th minute Raimundo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Cardoso in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeca Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Sabóia in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Osvaldo Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ediberto Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Madureira took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Sugoi. Angelo Sugoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Arce in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Sugoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Arce. Angelo Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Arce in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Talleres de Escalada's Hector Veronica got a free kick in the 95th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
