The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DOJLIDY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Turi Sendin scored to the left of an out of position Boleslaw Marchlewicz, making the score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Alianza Trujillo's Boleslaw Marchlewicz threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zorion Balli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute, Leonard Konieczny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOJLIDY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 46 minutes into the match, DOJLIDY's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Ceraso came free, but Boleslaw Marchlewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boleslaw Marchlewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Ceraso in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Barniszke to make the kick off. Arsenio Ceraso might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boleslaw Marchlewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Ceraso ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Alianza Trujillo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Zorion Balli hit a great ball. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Euloxu Seoane replaced Zorion Balli. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Oihan Villaelrriego replaced Jaume Urtasabel. The supporters of DOJLIDY booed when Alianza Trujillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Euloxu Seoane didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Alianza Trujillo were the better team. Alianza Trujillo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
