A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mirco Maier hit a great ball. Nereo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 9th minute of the match. When SC Otten's Mirco Maier in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Despidida AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute Mirco Maier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Mirco Maier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Nevada. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Nevada should have stopped the shot. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Ulises Hotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olaf Lübke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Ulises Hotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Otten's Olaf Lübke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Otten's zone, Ulises Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Lübke came out of the goal and Ulises Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Damir Preußner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Otten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damir Preußner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damir Preußner kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, SC Otten's Reinhold Friedl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Nevada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half SC Otten were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nereo Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Tenhagen in the 82nd minute of play. Nereo Nevada made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Damir Preußner sent off a good shot on target. Nereo Nevada made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ronnie Schilder sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Gilberto Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Nereo Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Tenhagen in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over SC Otten could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Despidida AFC throughout the match.
