The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Prudencio Frascuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lalla made a huge save. In the 7th minute, Alfonso Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Lalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş defense, Gonzalo Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Chus. The Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Chus should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Nicolas Hanot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Lalla, 2-1. Gonzalo Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Chus having to interfere. When Evaristo Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's protests and gave Evaristo Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Elodio. CAI NEUQUEN's Gonzalo Hartz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Fortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Nereo Santxol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAI NEUQUEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş the free kick. Rodrigo Lalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Rik in the 33rd minute of play. Alfonso Colas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Lalla came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Colas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 34th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Fermin Aznar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Isaias Chus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Rik to make the kick off. If Fermin Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CAI NEUQUEN's Ambrosio Felipo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaias Chus but with some difficulty. The supporters of Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, CAI NEUQUEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Orain to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Justino Pietro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Lalla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the CAI NEUQUEN defense, Justino Pietro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Lalla. The CAI NEUQUEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Lalla should have stopped the shot. CAI NEUQUEN's Rodrigo Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Frascuelo in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Rene Fortun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isaias Chus, 4-3. Ernesto Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Frascuelo. Rodrigo Lalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Rodrigo Lalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
