Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arto Õunapuu got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Bladi Lama cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ivari Olumets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arto Õunapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Rico having to interfere. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Villu Lesta hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Quevedo to maneuver through the defense. Bladi Lama let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 16th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burni Justo in the 19th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ivari Olumets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Burni Justo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivari Olumets. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Arto Õunapuu scored 4-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Rico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Bladi Lama nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivari Olumets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Haarald Ling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Haarald Ling hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arto Õunapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Rico having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burni Justo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st play minute Arto Õunapuu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristo Rico. 5-2. In the 60th minute, Bladi Lama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. After 67 minutes, Danilo Quevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Club Celta de Vigo and the FC Dundee players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Quevedo. In the 68th match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haarald Ling to maneuver through the defense. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Danilo Quevedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Danilo Quevedo off the ground. In the 70th minute, Danilo Quevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Uusmaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arto Õunapuu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristo Rico came out and tried to block the shot, but Arto Õunapuu slotted it home off the left post making it 7-3 in the 73rd minute. Cristo Rico was a little too slow when Hannes Uusmaa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 7-4. Cristo Rico came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dundee's Haarald Ling. But to his dismay, Haarald Ling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-5. Real Club Celta de Vigo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Dundee for a fine match.
