In the 3rd match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bocho Nikolchev to maneuver through the defense. Tuncay Eldem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evlogi Lukanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım in the 35th minute of the match. Evlogi Lukanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barlas Tengizalp went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Ganchev in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncay Eldem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when LİONS PEAK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Baybars İzgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Barlas Tengizalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evlogi Lukanov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barlas Tengizalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barlas Tengizalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Evlogi Lukanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Koralp Yıldırım in the 52nd minute of play. Gavril Karandzhulov's late challenge caught a LİONS PEAK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in LİONS PEAK's zone, Bocho Nikolchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuncay Eldem came out of the goal and Bocho Nikolchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Ganchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Tuncay Eldem made a huge save. Erkan Cangur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuncay Eldem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Ganchev in the 69th minute of play. When Bünyamin Ergüner fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LİONS PEAK's protests and gave Bünyamin Ergüner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LİONS PEAK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bünyamin Ergüner hit a great ball. With a little luck, LİONS PEAK's Tuncay Eldem got control of the ball when Gavril Karandzhulov tried to sneak it across the goal line.
