Panait Emilianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kléber Valle came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Royal's Grigore Pacurar. But to his dismay, Grigore Pacurar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 41st minute, Ernest Mihăileanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Catarinense during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Catarinense hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Agnaldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Prezan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kléber Valle. Dogelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Ian Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Sporting Royal's Costin Tănăsocă got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Costin Tănăsocă off the ground. Costin Tănăsocă kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sporting Royal's Toader Chirnoagă was substituted for Gigi Bîlbă. Narciso Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panait Emilianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute, David Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dogelo's zone, Iustin Stolnicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Valle came out of the goal and Iustin Stolnicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grigore Pacurar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Maicon Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Emilianu having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Isac Flamaropol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Dogelo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
