Ahmet Davut Ongul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Emilianu having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Suat Nuralp made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kaan Zeki in the 51st minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Panait Emilianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sporting Royal getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Grigore Pacurar hit a great ball. Sporting Royal made a substitution. Vasile Moga replaced Ernest Mihăileanu.
