The referee ignored Glentown FC's protests and gave Jonathan Soned a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Glentown FC got a freekick which was hit by Jens Ahlén. Tommy Kvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Hanigovský in the 36th minute of play. Peter Adamek made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ragnar Björk sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes of play, Glentown FC's Jarl Nilsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Adamek was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tommy Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Gešík, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 79th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Gabriel Bučko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kvist skillfully saved the ball.
