FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Trattnig hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Atletico Patoruzu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joachim Wolf fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Trattnig scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trey Randle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Trattnig to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Gleissner. 28 minutes into the game, Roosevelt Sullivan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Trey Randle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Trattnig went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Chance Womack hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roosevelt Sullivan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Atletico Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Whitley to maneuver through the defense. In the 54thth minute of the game Erich Otten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Patoruzu's Trey Randle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Tommi Braun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trey Randle was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Gabriel Vanik replaced Gernot Rosentreter. After 64 played minutes FV Wienerwald got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Gleissner. FV Wienerwald's Rick Rösen was substituted for Johann Szczepanowski. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jan-Erik Gleissner hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Jan-Erik Gleissner got a free kick in the 67th minute. FV Wienerwald made a substitution. Elmar Wögerbauer replaced Joachim Wolf. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erich Otten during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FV Wienerwald's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
