João Vítor Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Silvio Lastarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso got a free kick in the 18th minute. Magallanes's Silvio Lastarria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Costa in the 20th minute of play. Silvio Lastarria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Costa's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Izaga during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brian Izaga hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gamboa to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Gamboa in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Júnior Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Lastarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Matos in the 34th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Silvio Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Izaga in the 45th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Orlando Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Izaga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlando Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Brian Izaga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Izaga was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Magallanes booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Herminio Quintero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. Magallanes's Silvio Lastarria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. Antonio Mackenzie charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Mackenzie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Magallanes's Sansón Larrarte was substituted for Gerardo Obanos. Silvio Lastarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Valle in the 60th minute of play. Baldomero Gamboa scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Isaltino Vargas got a free kick in the 67th minute. Silvio Lastarria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Antonio Mackenzie kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Magallanes's Silvio Lastarria got control of the ball when Júnior Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 minutes, Patrick Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EoDu Uai Sôccer and the Magallanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Patrick Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso came free, but Orlando Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
