The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nigel Willemse might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nigel Willemse ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Nigel Willemse sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Eliseo Jenaro made a precise shot to the right of Fabrice Bemmel. FFC Merainies 03's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fabrice Bemmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Bero in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Nigel Willemse from a close distance when the talented Cecilio Mantzio managed to make a qualified save. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's players were relieved. Ronny Deinse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cecilio Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23rd play minutes Nigel Willemse shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cecilio Mantzio and just under the crossbar into goal. Fabrice Bemmel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Astor Bero made the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Cristian Cayo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Willemse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Reynaldo Izotz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabrice Bemmel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabrice Bemmel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Jenaro went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When FFC Merainies 03's Nigel Willemse in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by René van Hintum to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Astor Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrice Bemmel came out of the goal and Astor Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FFC Merainies 03's Fabrice Bemmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Bero in the 90th minute of play. With an all-out effort, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Fabrice Bemmel threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fermin Oto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 95 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Bero came free, but Fabrice Bemmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FFC Merainies 03 throughout the match.
