In the 2nd match minute, ☠QUINTERO☠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Martens to maneuver through the defense. Leovigildo Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Leovigildo Zambrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Baladi in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to ☠QUINTERO☠ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Florencio Martens hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Baltasar Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Martens. In the 17th minute, Cristo Silviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Candido Alba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☠QUINTERO☠ and the Congo Bongo players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Baumar in the 24th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Leovigildo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Congo Bongo got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Erlantz. In the 30th minute, Marcelino Báez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ☠QUINTERO☠ booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Damario Bustamante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Maria skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Efrain Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Congo Bongo's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Baladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leovigildo Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Baumar in the 56th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Leovigildo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leovigildo Zambrano came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Congo Bongo's Jacobo Raymon. But to his dismay, Jacobo Raymon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leovigildo Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, ☠QUINTERO☠'s Emanuel Navia got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Baladi in the 70th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Leovigildo Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricart Olmos in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Maria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leovigildo Zambrano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Piarres went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. ☠QUINTERO☠ made a substitution. Visen Garrido replaced Ricart Olmos. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Leovigildo Zambrano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Florencio Martens hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Leovigildo Zambrano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Raymon in the 94th minute.
